Do you know the date you were baptized? Maybe it’s penciled in a family Bible somewhere. Or maybe you have a certificate tucked away in a safe place.
We’re talking baptism this Sunday (Jan. 15), observing the Baptism of Our Lord (a week later than many places, I know, but we just couldn’t skip over Epiphany last week). I’d like everyone to show up Sunday knowing the date of their baptism. We’ll collect the dates and starting recognizing them and praying for folks when the anniversary of the baptism comes around — just like we do with birthdays and wedding anniversaries. So, if you don’t know it, do a little homework and find out.
